The purpose of language teaching is to provide with different standards of proficiency and command in language skills. Therefore devising language teaching techniques for classroom is very important. One of the techniques is cooperative reading techniques so that the researcher tries to investigate the effectiveness of reading techniques in increasing the reading comprehension of students.
The type of study to be used is experimental study as the influence of one variable on the other is going to be studied. And the data will be analysed quantitatively.
